Vice president Yu Lu met with Mr. Carlos Goulart, Secretary of Animal and Plant Health of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply of Brazil, and representatives from the Brazilian Embassy on April 15.

During the meeting, vice president Yu Lu and Secretary Carlos Goulart exchanged views on the situation of agricultural trade between China and Brazil in recent years. Representatives from the two sides also had an in-depth discussion on the situation of meat, grain and oil, vegetables and other products.

Vice president Yu Lu also invited Secretary Carlos Goulart to attend the 7th China International Import Expo and CFNA’s 15th China International Meat Conference, with the aim of jointly promoting the healthy and stable development of China-Brazil food and agricultural trade through more industrial exchanges.
