According to the Customs, from January to June 2024, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 158.03 billion USD, down by 6.8% y/y. Among that, the export value was 48.49 billion USD, up by 2%. The import value was 109.54 billion USD, down by 10.3%. Trade deficit reached 61.06 billion USD, down by 18.1%.

In June 2024, China’s import and export value of agricultural products amounted to 26.86 billion USD, down by 7.7% y/y. Among that, the export value was 8.67 billion USD, up by 10.2%. The import value was 18.19 billion USD, down by 14.3%. Trade deficit reached 9.51 billion USD, down by 28.8%.
